Lord Dattatreya is also known as Guru Datta, is a combined form of the powerful trinity, Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. It is believed that the people who worships Guru Datta will benefit in all aspects of life by participating in the pooja or yagna performed to Lord Dattatreya. He protects individuals from ancestral issues. Worshipping him on his Jayanthi helps the worshipper to lead a prosperous life. It is said that that the three heads of Lord Dattatreya represents serenity, peace, and prosperity.
