Vinayagar Chadhurthi festival is going to held in Vellore district, Walajapet, Danvantri Arogya Peedam on September 17. 12 years back in Danvantri Peedam no where else seen four feet height single stone vinaitheerkum Vinayagar on one side and pinitheerikum Danvantri on other side were consecrated on the simapeedam. Ganapathy homam and Vachakalpadha homam are still underway.

Coming 17 th Thursday in honor of vinayagar chadhurthi poojas and Maha Ganapathy homam is going to held at 10.00 AM in order to devoid our karmas. Vinayagar and Danvantri are decorated in a special manner then abishegam and poojas will be carried out with 23 kinds of leaves. The names of the leaves are mullai leaf, karisilagani leaf, vilvam leaf, arugampul, illandhai leaf, omaththai leaf, vanni leaf, nayaruvi, kandagkattiri, arali leaf, erukkam leaf, marutham leaf, vishnukirandhi leaf, pomegranate leaf, devatharu leaf, marukkuludhu leaf , peppel tree leaf, jasmine leaf, thalam leaf, agathi leaf, thavanam leaf, thumbai leaf and kundumani leaf. Also abishegam is going to held for Lakshmi Ganapathy using ashtathiraviyams.

Special Kandarvaraja Yagam

Following this, 20.9.2015 Sunday Kandarvaraja yagam is going to held from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM This homam starts with Ganapathy homam followed by Navagraha homam to eliminate navagraha doshams then sagkalpam has made to get married and then the kandarvaraja homam begins.

On doing this Kandarvaraja homam we get lot of benefits. All kinds of marriage obstacles will be vanished and get married soon and we can lead a happy life. Husband and wife will be a perfect match. The unity and love increases between the spouses.

Like that way, Sunday 20.9.15 from 10 AM to 1.00 PM Kandarvaraja yagam will be conducted by special veda mahans. Also kalsabishegam and annathanam will be given to those whoever participating in this yagam.
