Sri Danvantri Arogyapeedam 12th ending ceremony Invitation

Holy waters were poured on the `kumbams’ (crowns) atop the shrines of Lord Danvantri, the God of Medicine, Sri Arogyalakshmi and a host of other shrines during the Maha Samprokshanam (consecration ceremony) of Sri Danvantri Temple in Keezhpudupettai near Walajapet on Sunday morning. This is the second Samprokshanam being held in the temple after the first one held on December 15, 2004. The shrines were consecrated amidst the chanting of the `Mantra’ (sacred sentence) hailing the Lord. Sri Sachidananda Swamigal, head of the Kamalakanni Adheenam, Kalavai who is also the president of Sri Jalakanteswarar Dharma Sthabanam, Vellore and Sri Sivalingeswara Swamigal, head of the Kamakshipuri Adheenam, Coimbatore were among the several religious savants and saints and hundreds of devotees present on the occasion.
