DIALY POOJAS & SEVAS

To appease the duties and for the betterment of the society and the humankind at large, the Universal Sacred Centre involves various poojas and sevas on a regular basis. Yagna Seva, Homa Seva, Abhisheka Seva, Aarthi Seva, Alankara Seva are conducted regularly. The Peetham also offers daily poojas from morning 8.00 AM on to the respective deities in the Danvantri Peedam.

Annadhaanam

'Anna' means rice or food and 'Dhaanam' means giving or donating. It is said in our ancient scriptures that Annadhaanam is regarded as the highest form of charity. Under the guidance and blessings of our beloved Gnanaguru Dr. Sri Muralidhara Maharaj, Annadhaanam is conducted every day in the ashrams wherein hundreds of people, including the underprivileged are fed with utmost respect and love. Guruji encourages devotees to conduct similar programs in their respective locations to serve the needy. On special occasions thousands of devotees who visit the ashram are provided with sumptuous, nutritious food.

Arogya Seva

Guruji enunciates that a healthy mind and a healthy body is the foundation of a healthy and harmonious society. This has inspired the Arogya Seva project that renders healthcare through medical outreach programs and donations to people in the semi-urban and rural areas. Every year thousands of families benefit from medical welfare programs conducted about few times a year. The Medical Camp received an overwhelming response from the locals, where more than thousand people benefitted from the medical aid provided to them. Under the divine guidance of Swamiji, every year similar camps are conducted in association with leading doctors and specialists, who volunteer to support these camps. Doctors and medical professionals from different specializations provide their services and treat patients free of cost. Medicines and treatments are provided to the needy, along with education and awareness on nutrition, health and hygiene. The project also funds for surgeries and other hospital expenses to the under privileged, offering them a new lease of life.
