Kalabhairavar Jayanti is a Hindu festival. Kalabhairavar Jayanti is a Hindu holy day commemorating the birthday of Bhairavar a fearsome and wrathful manifestation of the god Shiva. It falls in the Hindu month of Kartik or Margashirsha, which corresponds to the months of November or December in the Hindu calendar. Kalabhairavar Jayanti is celebrated as one of the 86 Hindu Festivals by North Indian people and celebrations and a ritual remarking Kalabhairavar Jayanti is carried out differently in different parts. On the day of Kalabhairavar Jayanti, devotees worship Kala Bhairava, Lord Shiva and Parvati with flowers, fruits and sweets.
