A medical mela has been held in Vellore district, Wallajapet,
Danvantri Peedam on 09.05.2015 between 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM. Dr.Delhi
Badhsha, Dr.Sarathbabu, Dr.Sivagnanam and Dr.Meera Sunil participated
and graced the occasion. Every year on Chithirai Thiruvonam day, two
days (Saturday & Sunday) medical mela is being conducted for the
welfare of world medical family. In this mela, doctors from different
fields like Siddha, Ayurveda and Yunani participated and gave free
medicines and counselling. Kaiyilai Gnanaguru Dr. Sri Murallidhar
Swamiji inaugurated the medical mela.
In this medical mela and homam, Dr.Sasikala, Dr.Vasudeva rao,
Dr.Zakir Hussain, Dr.Parathasarthy, Dr.Pachaiappan, Dr.Afsar Ahamed,
Dr.Senthil Kumar have participated and graced the occasion. In this two
days of medical mela, more than 500 devotees and the localities have
participated and got free counselling from the doctors. Special
Annadhanam also given, says the danvantri peedam authorities.
