The following informations were given by Gnanaguru Muralidara Swamigal. Special Homams were done on 20/03/2015 at Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam, Walajapet. Siddhar Sri Vallalar Arulmani Swamigal participated in this special homam. Annadhanam (Free Meals) was also done. Sri Arulmani Swamigal took part in Annadhanam. Many devotees participated in this function.


On 20/03/2015 at 5pm, "Nikumbala Homam" was done in the sannathi of Yagna Swaroopini Iswarya Prathyangara Devi, situated in Danvantri Peedam. Nikumbala homam is a special one as the effects are so much that they will destroy the enemies.

Special types of homams were done for every deity situated at different sannathis. These are called "Parikara" homams. ie. Different types of homams for solving different types of problems like obstacles for marriage, childless, for good knowledge and education, etc. By doing this type of homam, 64 kinds of curses are nullified and obstacles from different types of "Grahas" (Planets) like Ragu, Kethu, Sevvai (Angaragan), etc. The homams are also done to prevent prematured deaths.

Nikumbala homam was done on Amavasai day (New Moon Day) last year 2014. Nearly 6000kgs dried chilies were dropped in the homam. But no one had eye irritation and tears, that is the speciality of the homam. Many people participated in the homam.
