LORD LAKSHMI KUBERAR :

Lord Kuberar is revered as the Yakshas leader who helps in procuring wealth for the benefit of mankind. He is further renowned as the Lord of riches in Hindu mythology. Also known as Dhanapathi, Kuberar is said to be sage Vishrava’s son. Ancient texts state that Kuberar is the leader of Uttara disa that signifies the direction of North in Sanskrit. Some scriptures denote that he is Ravana, the Lord of Lanka’s brother. Iconography of this deity explains that he carries a bag or pot of gold coins and wears gold jewelry. The Brahma gave Kuberar immortality and made him the God of prosperity and wealth.

Kuberar is also known as the guardian of earths treasures who distributes wealth to deserving people. Goddess Lakshmi is the Hindu deity of prosperity, wealth, wisdom, generosity and fortune. It is believed that Devi Lakshmi protects devotees from financial worries and removes money-associated woes. Worshipping Devi Lakshmi and Kuberar helps in providing material wealth and comforts. The Rigveda mentions the combined power of these deities and leaders of wealth who are also the storehouse of affluence and other riches.
