With the Blessings of our beloved Guruji 'Yagnasri Kayilai Gnanaguru' Dr. Sri Muralidhara Swamigal, Founder, Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam is organizing for the SRI VINAYAGAR DANVANTRI THAILA ABISHEGAM AND THIRUVONAM POOJA on Tuesday 7th July 2020 at Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam, Walajapet, Ranipet District, Tamil Nadu, which has Got deities for all the Shan madhams.

Out of that for Ghanapathyam represents Lord Sri Vinayagar. The Danvantri Bagawan and Sri Vinayagar idol, both combined made out of single stone which rests back to back and both sits in the Raja Peedam.

On one side facing Sri Danvantri Bagawan, upper hands holds the conch and the disc and having Mahalakshmi at his Chest. He also holds a seendhal kodi (Pergularia daemia) in His lower left hand, and the Amruta Kalasam (the pot of the nectar of immortality) in His lower right hand. Also in His left hand is a leech, which is used in Ayurveda and other medical disciplines as well to suck out impure blood, especially in treatment of skin ailments.

On the other side, the Vinayagar with his four arms with the disc and the Conch in His upper hands, and He rests on a lion, and not on his usual vahan, the mole. He also holds the writing instrument and the modhakam in His lower hands. His face appears to be smiling – as a Welcome of a Receptionist at the entrance, by welcoming all the Devotees with the Blessings.

Sri Danvantri Swamigal said this Sri Vinayagar and Sri Danvantri, both deities was sculptured in one stone, facing in opposite directions, as per his intuition. The concept of Lord Ganesha is connected to the concept of Lord Danvantri, as in Tamil saying - Vinai Theerpavar Sri Vinayagar (removes all type of obstacles) and Pini Theerpavar - Sri Danvantri Bagawanayagar, removes all kinds of diseases) and this shrine is open 24 hours of a day - as a hospital should be.

was installed at Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam, Walajapet, Ranipet District, Tamil Nadu and regular Thiruvonam Abishegam, Thiruvonam Homam and Poojas are performed for Universal Welfare on every Thiruvonam Star Day.

On the day of Thiruvonam star, on Tuesday the 7th July 2020, Devotees can undertake a special abhishekam, to this Sri Vinayagar Danvantri by using gingelly (sesame) oil to anoint the idol and that is given back as a massaging agent. Interested devotees can register for Sankalpam by giving their Name/s, Star, Rasi and Gothram.
