For this mass homam, 468 homa kundams have been built at the peedam. This homam is being done for the welfare of the devotees who have written their queries/problems and dropped them in the prarthana box kept in the peedam for the purpose. The box will be opened in front of the devotees and sankalpam will be done for all the letters, leading to mass prayers for the welfare of the devotees who have written in.
Sri Muralidhara Swamigal, the founder of the Peedam, has made special arrangements for mass prayer on the same day for a disease- and disorder-free life.
"There would annadhanam for the whole day and we are planning to feed about 30-50,000 people on the auspicious occasion when I received âdikshaâ in 2003,â explains the swamigal.
A note from the Peedam adds that everyone is invited to participate in the auspicious occasion and receive the blessings of the Siddhars.
